Summer Craft Market
August 16-17, 2008
The Summer Craft Market is held on the third weekend of August, the same weekend as the Mt. Gretna Outdoor Art Show. Exhibitors display and sell quality American-made handcrafts and original art pieces.

SITE: An open, level, mostly grassed field directly across from the main public parking lot. This location affords your patrons easy & direct access to the Craft Market. Food vendors are onsite throughout both show days. Patrons riding shuttle buses from satellite parking are directed to the Craft Market by over road banners and conspicuous on site advertising, including signs at the Art Show entrance and onboard the buses.
SPACE FEES: $250 per space (if received by July 1st) for the weekend. Each space is twelve feet wide by ten feet deep. Rent as many adjacent spaces as you require. All spaces are outdoors. No electricity is available. NO RAIN DATES.
POLICIES: By registering, exhibitor agrees to exhibit throughout the show hours and days listed above. Unless the weather is inclement, an "early exit" or "no show" on either day may exclude exhibitor from future participation in this or other Mt. Gretna Shows’ Events. Acceptance into this show is first-come space available within each craft category. Limitations on the number of exhibitors within each category are imposed for the purpose of presenting a balanced show. Each exhibitor assumes full responsibility for assembling, managing, and removing their exhibit, and for any loss, theft, breakage, or personal injury within their space. Each exhibitor will provide his or her entire display, including tables/chairs. It is required that all exhibitors produce an attractive product display. Boxes, crates, and other materials not integrated into the display must be concealed from view. Exhibitors are encouraged to provide sun shading for your exhibit and your patrons.
SALES TAX: By Pennsylvania law, each exhibitor must have a Pennsylvania sales tax number to participate in the Craft Market and PA sales tax must be collected on all sales.
APPLICATION: Apply for the Summer Craft Market by completing and returning the application below – including the full entry fee – no later than July 1st.
LATE APPLICATIONS: Applications received after July 1st are charged at $300 per space and are considered on a space available basis. (All money will be returned if application is rejected.) Apply early. The show is typically filled to capacity well before the July 1st deadline. Until any individual category limit is met or the overall show limit is reached, accepted applicants will be notified of their acceptance to the show as soon as practical after receipt of their entry.
REFUNDS: Full refund to rejected applicants and for written requests for withdrawal received 60+ days prior show date; 50% refund for written requests for withdrawal received 30-59 days prior show date; NO REFUNDS for requests for withdrawal received < 30 days prior show date.
